People complain about charm breaking all the time...

I gotta tell ya, i got my coercer's charm AA to 5 and I got adept 3 charm (lvl 10 spell) and the ONLY time it breaks really is when the duration runs out (7 or 8 mins if i recall). My pets is ALWAYS yellow con to me unless i level while im using him or find a really nice caster of some type (i'm not the type to cross thewhole zone for a pet, i just grab whatever is handy). Have had no problems so far at all.So for all those new coercers out there that are having trouble with your charms, hang tight. Get yourself a silver cluster and craft the spell yourself or have someone craft it for you and max that AA out. Makes a WORLD of difference!

Either you only charm a certain kind of mob with very low mental resists or you have WIS line and a ton of subjugation gear (2-3 on every piece at least). It's just luck.Charm WILL break no matter how many points you have in the AA or how much subjugation you have.Also don't bother crafting the Adept3. The resistability only improves once you have the master.

The breaking of my Master charms seem totally random. It can break anytime within the spell's maximum duration. but I start to get real worried once I get past the 50% of the spell's duration and start looking for an exit out.

Note the level of the OP ... below 20 with an adept 3 one would not expect much problem. There is also no problem at 70+ with master 1 and 5AA in charm and 8 in AA for subjugation.

The people who complain tend to have adept 1 to adept 3 and little or no charm AA.

Look, i get it will break from time to time. But some people come here and just [Removed for Content] and moan like it breaks every ten seconds. That simply isn't true. Yes it will break. Yes you will hit unlucky streaks where it will break quite often. But you will also see lucky streaks where it doesnt break much at all. Lets be honest. Nobody remembers when their charm worked perfectly for an hour. Nobody ever sees the positive. They see the negative when the same mob will break charm 5 times in 2 mins. Yeah it will happen but just because when it doesn't work is more annoying then when it does that tends to be the part you remember. It's MMO nature to see the negative more. Hell to an extent it's the nature of all entertainment that negative is better. Look at the news, not allot of rainbows and lollipops is there? Last time you saw a show about how drama-free high school was? A police drama where they get the cat out of the tree? Negatives catch the eye, its how we work. But don't forget that sometimes things do actually work out quite well too.

PS: this is my 2nd coercer (5th enchanter). The first was before AAs. He made it to the 30s. Actually they were before the combat revamp. It was hell then, now its just a minor annoyance from time to time.

Rok Has lots of +Subjugation gear as quest rewards as well .. I am over +25 from gear alone not including when my one ring procs.
