Which parser is most recommended; and how many identical mobs would be required to do a accurate test?

Im considering switching out couple proc items for +spell damage but want see the effects first.

Advanced Combat Tracker is a great parser. It's been too long since I've had a stats class for me to comment on how many mobs you'd need to get a valid comparison, though. SMILEY

I'm not happy with the spell damage items at all, they do not add to our combat arts, and they aren't added to our life taps properly (as per design apparently).  AOE spells there divided by 3 I think if I remember right.

I added about 500 ish spell damage + lots of int (since there was a lot of cloth pieces) and found that I parsed awefully as I had to sacrifice crit items, I went into HoS and was parsing horribly (around 1500dps, bard forgot to play some key songs, but 1500 in a pure DPS spec, that sucks).  I'm thinking forget the spell damage items, keep with proc items and crit items.

ACT is a great parser lots of work has been done on it, and regular updates, with a handly graph to show you whats going on with your damage.

Yeah I expect to not like the results. Things Im thinking of switching out is the good old standby SK earing with Char proc and my HQ belt. Mostly what I want to find out is how steady is the procs with my playstyle. Ive noticed earring alone crits for lil over 800. If its procing once a fight as it appears to me.. replacing with +25 spell damage isnt gonna add up. I have seen few jewelry though with like +25 spell and +1% crit. Thats something I think might make a difference. Yes 100% crit rate is overkill but hey Im a Shadowknight..... killing ya isnt enuff, ya gotta hurt while Im doing it.

As for cloth items with int.. I tried that out and about puked. My normal int is tad over 600. With adding another 100 int it didnt do jack to my damage output.
