Just started playing with the release of RoK, and now have a lvl 22 sarnak paladin with 16 unspent AA's.  I play with a wizard friend 100% of the time while questing/leveling, so i'm just wondering which aa line(s) i should go down that would help us the most. Also which master II's i should take.

if you are duoing with just a wizzie... heals... he's going to need them =P

i used to run with a fury and wizard all the time, in the lower levels before i really learned to play the class he tanked more mobs than i did, when you get higher level, and get better gear, respec yourself for tanking, but at low levels it dose not take much for a wizard to take mobs away from you.  heals, avoidance and mitigation buffs, wis line will help him land more nukes, or go 448 agil/sta/int and try to peel them off of him.

 good luck =P

I am now lvl 73, and have had max aa (when max was 100) for a very long time with many many respecs. I often duo with a wiz or an assassin. I have found what works best until you obtain awsome top end gear, is basically to stay alive long enuf to let the dps mow down your mob. I would say at lower lvls to not worry so much about dps, but to stay alive while holding agro. Once you get Amends, agro wont be a problem in a duo group as long as you get both your taunts off right away. To stay alive consistantly, the first aa's you should get would probly be the eof healing line, first maxxing out your ward reuse timer. The quicker you can cast your ward, the better. Next, go down your int line and max out heal crits. You will crit your ward, and critting your single target or group heal helps ALOT when you are main tank, and main healer. Once you get heal crits, go down your stam line to the end to get divine aura, maxxing out melee crit, and 6 points in % hitpoints to be able to get DA. once you do that, finish out your healing line to get the extra heal on the eof tree, the reuse reduction in Lay on Hands and your sacrament healing spells also helps alot. Once you finish that, start speccing some dps type stuff, like maxxing out your crit spells on the int line, i wouldnt worry about the end result in int to much. Next go back to your eof tree, and go all the way down your hero line getting the increase in shield effectiveness, and after that put the remaining in wraths for some added dps. I have tried many many specs and this seems to work the best for me. basicly on the really tuff mobs, I start off throwing on my ward, waiting for it to pop back up, body pull, taunt single and group taunt. reward, spot heal if needed, or maybe a CA or two to help solidify agro. Then chain heal myself till the mob is dead using my single heal, ward, group heal, eof aa heal, then throw in lay on hands, and or divine aura, and keep cycling through. Pal wiz is a great duo, and can pull off some amazing feats. Another strat for taking down the toughest of mobs is this. Let the wizard root nuke it down, if the mob is a caster, spot heal the wizard when he gets hit with spells, and throw on your taunts to attempt to keep agro while the mob is rooted. If the mob has a ton of Hps, the wizard can sac health for power, and you can keep his health topped off. With wiz pal, you get evac, heals, rezzes, tankage, agro control, and great dps. I have duo'd crypt of valdoon, and oblisk of lost souls with a wizard, and i only have top end legendary gear, so you dont have to have all the top fabled gear to be able to take out some of the really tuff content. Hope this helps.
