I think Kylong Plains nodes are supposed to take 340.The nodes in Fens of Nathsar require 340 skill.

You've probably thought of this already SMILEY but you'll have to ding 71 in either adventure or tradeskill before any of your harvest skill caps will raise

small correction:  71 Adventurer or crafter.  Your harvesting skill cap is based on whichever is higher.

I think that was intentional.  KP is a gateway of sorts to the rest of the RoK zones.  Since harvesting in T7 didn't require the usual progression of skill due to the fact they wanted people to be able to harvest in KoS without buying DoF.  The Kylong Plains follows the skill progression that would exist from KoS, but the other RoK zones return to the skill progression of T1 to T5 (the original zones). I think this was to allow those who hadn't maxed harvest skills in T7 to still be able to harvest in at least one area of Rok immediately and have a way to work up their skill while still getting T8 items.  I think it's perfect, actually. (and since my coercer wasn't quite to 340 in a couple of her harvest skills, I didn't have to give up on harvesting while leveling, or go grind out harvest skill and come back)

The nodes in KP are not 'trivial', if you are lvl 71 you can still get harvesting skill from them. I know I did SMILEY
