AA question while leveling

Hiya! Just came back to the game after a hiatus and am leveling a defiler with my berserker friend and while I generally get the jist of the AA system I'm wondering which would be best to get. Most of the time it'll be just us two, sometimes in groups for instances. Any suggestions on which to get and when to get them would be appreciated!
