I've got all this status and no idea what I can spend it on, other than mounts.  I tried wandering around freeport and talked to a half a dozen merchants, but the only one that sold status items was the scout writ giver and those were junk.Is there somewhere else I can spend status?  How are you supposed to know where?

Mounts and housing are the big ones, but you can also buy stuff from the city vendor (EFP bar, second floor) and from the TS supplier in the WFP instance. I haven't been there in a while, but you could get TS workstations for your house, status armour for show, and um ... other stuff. SMILEY

For the most part, after the mounts and house, my personal status is a side effect of raising status for the guild.

The City Merchant in main city zones is the primary source of goods for purchase with status.   In particular, the crafting stations that you can put in your house. As well, much of the main-city-zone housing is available at a cheaper [gold] price if you pay part of the price with status points.  This is the primary place that my status goes -- my house in South Qeynos requires 50,000 status per week in rent, although I've reduced that to 20,000 with various pieces of rent-reducing furniture.   While it sounds like a lot, 20,000 is only 2-3 level 65+ writs per week and is not that big of a burden.
