I have noticed that a few people are recommending changing to the newer launcher to cure various problems.
Is there any problem with using the current launcher ? and if we are supposed to upgrade why does it not either: (1) tell us an upgrade is available, or (2) upgrade iteslf ? Just curious as I would not have nown anything about a new launcher if I had not read some of the posts. Thanks.

![]() The station launcher seems to fix some problems , for me it fixed up two different installs on two computers One had some missing geometry in some zones, another was a full install from the web installer , it would crash trying to create any zone I used the station launcher , it downloaded some stuff and now both installs work fine for me. Now does it fix all problems , no idea . Does it create more problems , not for me it didnt . Can i still use the eq2 launcher , yes , though for sure i dont trust what its downloading. I think the station launcher is only for US installs right now. Not sure about european installs. If i had known about this launcher before i wouldnt have changed drivers several times thinking it was the video card at fault You can easily find the launcher by choosing My account on the eq2 launcher. Might want to read up on it on its web page before using it. |
