![]() I have 3 accounts that no longer work. I have tried to log in and it gives me the nomal error of bad login or password. I have tried to change the password at the account portion of this site and it spits out the email with the temp password and everything looks like it works until you try to log in again. It will not log you in even with the temp password. Only the accounts that did NOT have a number in the password are effected. Please fip the swich again so I can change my stuff. In the password reset area, I enter in the account (the one NOT working) that is haveing issues new temp password I get this error- error.authentication.retrieval.fail Which is very different from an error I get when I purposly type a different password in on an account that WORKS. Invalid Username or Password. |

There is another thread with people that can't log in. I don't think its a case of the number in password alone. There maybe multiple issues at work. But mostly its a failure on SOE's part. Technical and Customer Service. They need to resolve it and they need to apologize.

They will fix it, but it may not be in the 5 seconds that people expect and demand it to be solved in.

Apparently this has been going on for a month. (See numerous threads on issue.) Making excuses for them serves no purpose. And regardless... their customer service is not good. I grade it a D. I've work in customer service and grade people on customer service...

We also expect that within an hour or two of it being identified as an issue, that it be acknowledged so that folks can not worry about it, which it has not. Thats the issue folks have, not that we cant login, or that theres an issue, but that there is no system in place to handle it expeditiouslyThere is another thread with people that can't log in.
