Seriously. The game was supposed to be this epic good vs. evil thing, with Antonia and Lucan as central characters. The only time I seen them was during betrayal, and that may even have been changed since they revamped being exiled quite a white back.Where are they? What happened to the central plot of the current Norrat? O_o;;

Well... Firiona Vie is the poster child of EQLive and you don't really see her adventures in -too much- of the expansion's lores. Sometimes, but not always. The last time I saw them on box art though was KoS. SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /> If you look really hard at the full view picture they had on the site you can see them fighting on the isle. I miss Antonia's ho-ness on my box art.

Edit: Whoah I guess it's not so hard to spot them after all on the site anymore for the KoS cover art. haha.

Lucan shows up personally at the end of the Sword of Destiny quest line. He's still around.

Lucan and Antonia are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Ruling thier kingdoms. the only reason you see them in the betrayal quest is because you are sent to assassinate them. the conflicts have been thier forces.the Desert of Ro wasn't thier concern. they both wanted access, but that was it.In KoS, they are both looking to claim the Qeynos Claymore.In EoF, they are both after Soulfire, stolen from Lucan.the Qeynosian representatives of Antonia have been the Royal Guard, and the Knights of Marr.Freeport has sent the Lucanic Knights, and it seems commonly the Arcane Scientists are involved.Lucan shows up personally to look for Soulfire in the EoF line...but that's entirely understandable. Soulfire is part of his claim to power. he wouldn't risk someone else getting it and coming to usurp him. though he is still as arrogant as ever, claiming that Mayong is afraid of him.I imagine the Epic Quests will have some more involvement from the city leaderships/factions. maybe a few of us will get to see Lucan/Antonia during those.

Actually you don't even see them any more during betrayal. Eventually you did meet them because they became wise to your doings to the city.

Actually, the Knights of Marr are entirely autonomous, though undoubtedly, if pushed, they'd side with Antonia, for the time being, they are acting independently, and are based out of Lionheart Castle (at least I think that was what it was called).

Though it was originally going to be in the game, it was left out because it was too buggy.  Screenshots of it exist from before the game was even in beta, and you can find some of the lore about it on these forums.

Lucan thought he had wiped out the Knights of Marr.  Twice now, actually.  The first time was shortly after he took control of the entirety of Freeport.  I believe the story goes that he sent them all into Befallen or something, chasing after some artifact, or cleansing the place from undead once and for all, and then he blew up the entrance, or something to that extent.  As you can tell, my details on this are sketchy, and so it's possible that this isn't actually part of lore (or was an idea that later got scrapped).

The second time was after the Battle of Defiance, where Lucan first obtained the Soulfire from the corpse of the Avatar of War.  A quote from the Tome of Destiny:

"The Overlord removed his helmet to reveal a scarred, smirking face. "Of course it does, fool," he replied. "Soulfire is now where it was always meant to be. I thank you for bringing it to me, and for delivering the true enemies of Freeport to justice." "True enemies? What do you--" Lucan walked to the edge of the plateau and faced the army below. "Citizens of Freeport," he called out in a booming voice that carried across the battlefield, "your Overlord has brought you victory this day! Now is the time to bring justice to the criminals who have returned to our lands! Turn your swords against the Knights of Truth and the Priests of Marr and let none of them escape!" "Are you insane?" the monk asked angrily. "You have a chance to wipe out the rest of the orcs, but you'd rather feed your petty desire for revenge?" Lucan laughed as he donned his helm again. He climbed atop the black steed and pointed the edge of Soulfire toward the monk. "Be grateful I let you live, Avatar. Don't think I have forgotten our history. I suggest you return to the desert and show your face in my kingdom no more." He turned the horse and rode down the side of the plateau."

But we know that a number of them survived.  They champion the cause of their gods, but hold no allegiences to any political organization.

...*clears throat* Back on topic..

 The Ashen Order retreated into the Desert of Ro, while the Knights of Truth were declared enemies of the state by Lucan and slaughtered after the Rallosians were defeated.  Still weakened from the battle, the treachery was well timed and they were overcome.  The order still exists, they just lost the conflict over Freeport, and are no longer an influence there.

 The political climate actually goes back to the original Freeport of EQLive.  Part of the Paladin's Soulfire(?) quest in EQ1 was to take it from Lucan D'Lere.  Your faction with the Freeport Militia (in West/South/East Freeport) was basically opposed by your faction with the Knights of Truth in North Freeport.  I know after helping a Paladin friend with that quest, I ended up having to use the underground to get through the city from that point on.
