ok bit of background first.. been playing since release off and on, but first I was a monk, got him to 54 and quit for a while back about a month into DoF release. Left for almost a year. Came back as a Zerker, got him to 70, yadda yadda .. left again. Came back a third time, and after much testing (Played a fury to 27, necro to 22, wizzy to 31) decided on a swashbuckler.Got my swashy to lvl 54 now, I've mostly been soloing.. well.. because most fo the folks I'm guilded with are 70, and I don't trust most PUG's.Anyways.. I'm currently Str/Wis specced, (have 55 AA points atm) but I always feel werid not having anything in my offhand. While I tried Str/Sta for a bit, I didn't want all the taunts and the like. I LIKE DW, so I'm trying to think of a GOOD DW spec, is Str/Agi a good choice? I'm also not overly big on stealth attacks, (I never remember to use them honestly) but it looks better than say Str/Int.Should I even keep str?Any advice?

![]() If DW is your choice Str / Agi is the best way to go for damage. The other AA specs give you different abilitys that will allow your character to fit your play style, if that is what you want, FD and such. I personally dont like the STA line at all, but then again it is not my play style. My Swashy is Spec'ed STR / WIS as certain CA's (STR line Strikes) really assist guild in raids, and I am more than pleased with the Single weapon damage, with all of the double attacks and reverse lunge benifits. I was STR/AGI speced all the way to lvl 70 and it worke great for me but after I started raiding STR / WIS was a better alternative for me and my guild. |

Yeah since I'm not really raiding atm, I think I'm going to stick with str/agi at least until I hit 70.I'm such a newb at scout classes.. I didn't know till yesterday that you could stack the three kinds of poisons *heH*

![]() Here's a good dual wield AA spec: Step 1. Go down the strength line. Max your crits and put 6 into whatever you want more of - defense or increasing target's casting time. Step 2. Remove the weapon from your offhand. Step 3. Go down the wisdom line, max double attack. |
