Hey everyone, due to inforseen circumstances i haven't been on in about a month and a half however when i went on launch pad yesterday and i started to download the many updates i knew i would have to download. the launch pad seemed to get stuck on the "prophetday.mp3" file and the estimated time went up to about 50 hours. I turned my pc of and thought it was a glitch but i came on today and found teh same problem. I;ve had my pc on since about 1 oclock this afternoon (GMT) and yet it still says 50 hours left and it syas it is still on the said download.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so does anyone know how to solve it because i really want to get back onto EQ2 as i deleted my characters and started new and am only level 13 SMILEY

Thanks

hmmm nope. I use panda 2008 at the moment and that has never given me a single problem playing on either SWG or EQ2. I'll go check if it on the ban list as i haven t played EQ2 since i updated panda to 2008

nope inbound and outbound traffic = should allow it, i will file a ticket about this and will leave my computer on tonight and will see if that solves teh problem but please continue posting here!!

Thanks

Cancel the download, and try again - if that doesn't work, then repeat a few times and it *should* get it working.  At least that is one thing I remember seeing recently as being an issue, and cancelling/restarting was the suggestion for the stuck DL issue.  Also, if you have upgraded to Vista since the last time you played, their may be an issue there, but I don't know the fix(es) for that.

If you have recently upgraded to Vista the EQ2 launcher must run as "administrator".

right click your EQ2 icon, and select "run as administrator"
