Currently I have 75 AA's and have rotting and tainted heals with extra points into mage/scout pet resists in gravecalling, and Sta in KoS tree.  My tank is a beast for soloing, but I can't even break 1500 dps on a raid unless I get a really good heal during a lifeburn on a raid.  I don't raid a lot so I don't want to go with the straight dps rotting/pacts, Str/Int raid build, but want a balanced build for both.  My question is which KoS tree between Str and Int gives the most dps and how much approximately (like 50 or 300 or what?).

Also if I only keep 1 line for soloing which one would be the best?  Sta tree makes tank pet hps go from 8K to 10K and gives him and extra taunt, but obviously tainted heals is pretty sweet for keeping him up, although he didn't seem to be able to hold aggro before I respecced to Sta for the extra taunt.  Any suggestions for a good balanced build for some decent dps and soloability would be appreciated.  70 necro with all legendary gear and all adept 3's by the way.

when rok comes out you will be able to have 2 streamlined AA specs and will be able to switch them out by going to your house or something to that effect..  as of now you have to choose dps or solo cant really have both ..  i would keep STA line since spec to STR is going to give you more agro and in reality as long as the pet can hold the mob things are ok.

I played that way for a long time.  I don't belong to a hard core raiding guild and until recently we only raided 2 or 3 nights a week.  Now we are doing it 5 nights a week to get through EoF content before RoK release.  But before then I ran a balanced AA spec:Rotting line (always and forever)Manipulations (tainted heals and more reliable utility spells like root are great for groups and soloing)WIS line because stronger pets are always best when soloing and in small groupsNow your style of play gets important here - if you raid most of the time or prefer your mage pet in groups then go with INT.  If you solo most of the time with the tank pet go with STA.  If you hardly raid and don't mind taking a few dings on yourself go with AGI (tanking for your scout pet isn't easy but the challenge will get the adrenaline flowing)  SMILEY  The scout pet is great in groups when you have an enchanter and don't want to risk breaking mezz. But, as the previous poster mentioned, with RoK coming you will be able to have multiple specs stored away and can switch with a visit to your house.I will have my STR/INT/Rotting/Pacts for raiding and my WIS/STA/Rotting/Manipulations for soloing saved for certain.
