Gear Guide, and true newbies...

I'm trying to improve my Brigands abilities, as would anyone who is starting out.My question is, I find gear on sites that I'd love to have "Scaled Tribal Spear" for instance, but can not find any information on where it comes from. The items simply exists. :/So, is there any guide, that people know of, that explains rating systems, and what dungeons/instances are worth hitting? SMILEY

EQ2idb is fairly good. Not all items have drop information though. Here is a link.

Also, what kind of rating systems are you talking about? Damage rating on weapons? Monster Con?....

If you give your level and the expansions you have some people might be able to give you some tips as far as dungeons and instances go.

One other thing, you can also try posting questions in the Newbie Yard board as it gets a fair amount of traffic.
