Aye fantastic write up. Just got link from the conjy forums. You seem to have left out necromancer buffs though. They have group wis/int buff but dont know numbers atm.

Mage INT group buffs don't stack with eachother (only the non-INT portions of those buffs will stack. The wizard group buff already provides the group with INT/STR

Awesome write up, I believe this topic will be linked many many times in the furture.

I belive that conj's have a pet proc debuff for elemental damage as well around the same amount as rending icicles, not sure if they stack or not, but it can be very helpful on AoE fights as the conj mage pet can proc it from his AoEs.

Added in some graphs to show the effects of raising INT against spell damage, and made that section a little clearer. Also included various suggestions from both this thread and the other one.

Very good post!

Answers a lot of questions I had to why parsing regularly over 1K seems to be real hard for me yet my lock friend seems to do it with ease

Combo of gear ad3 and certain pvp spec aa not to mention group make up being the main reasons. cant give up manashield SMILEY

I love you. o_oThank you for posting this. I've seen much of it scattered throughout the boards here, but I've never seen anyone put up as much comprehensive content and I have to say: GREATLY appreciated.I know many of us hard-core wizards are familiar with a lot of this information just from not-sucking at the game; Still, I teared up just scrolling through the first page. Having a hard-copy of the info. (especially the math stats) = love.Well done. I hope to see it updated regularly.

[Edit:] Woops!

"When target strikes a death blow Your target got pwned"

When target strikes a death blow Your target pwned something

Also, unsure about this one but it seems like..

"When target is damaged in combat You take any melee damage"

When target is damaged in combat Your target takes any melee damage

And so on for the remaining "When target / you take" 's.

Hey I am a troub, and I was wondering why you pointed out Resonance over Harmonize.  Just curious, because atm I use Harmonize.  Please PM me if this isn't the place.

This obviously took a LONG time to document, and I think every wizzy who reads this post really appreciates the effort and skill that went into creating it.

I've completely respec'd my AA's to those suggested in this incredibly analytical post. I'm eager to see if the results constitute an improvement. I haver to admit, giving up the STR line (the crit increase and Catalyst) was tough... lol... I"m going on blind faith here. So we'll see. Every guild I've been in so far pays almost NO attention to what classes are in the wizzy's group, and seem to focus only on the MT group and hate management.

One preplexing thing is under Spell Rotation, Protoferno is in the rotation. Is there data that really shows Protoferno is worth the casting time, as opposed to nearly anythig else that's up at that moment?
