I have bought 24 Booster packs and 3 Premade Decks.

I have not recieved one item from these. I was told that you should get an item for about each 8. Is this true?

I posted this here because I could not find a forum page for LON.

That's probably a "Best Guess" estimate, which will not necessarily hold true.

Look up the words "random" and "odds"

The drops are in the game, so as was said "Working as intended" SOE (tm)

Its 1 in 9 according to the LoN devs and thats just saying you have a 1 in 9 chance for each pack. Its possible (just unlikely) that you could open 100 packs and not get a single item. Opening 24 packs is not enough to create a good sample. Also the starter decks are not random and you will NOT receive any loot or foil cards in a starter. I have opened around 70 packs and received 11 loot cards doing it. You will get loot cards if you open enough packs and if you open thousands you will see your percentage approach 11%. Based on the comments from people who have spent $1000+ already on packs the loot card distribution is fine.

I can't help but wonder if the same folks gripe and demand refunds when the servers are down. *ponder*

If you look towards the top of the main forum listing, or at the top of any of the individual forums, you will see an "Announcement" section where there are links to EQ2players, Network Status, etc.  It also has a Legends of Norrath Forums link. SMILEYClosing this thread as it is really a Legends of Norrath issue and not EverQuest II gameplay related.
