"back"?  it never left. I have submitted more bug reports about sound issues then any thing else in game.  I am running a Sound Blaster Audigy ZS2 (yes, with the most up to date drivers) and the sound in so many places in game just turns to pure, liquified, greenish orange feces when using ANY of the hardware acceleration modes.  That's rediculous and unacceptable.  One perfect example is near the spires in Darklight Woods.  I will record what i get some time and post it.  terrible...  just plain terrible.

but hey!  At least we can make our armor match now!

/sigh

The sound is supposed to be wonky near the Spire in Darklight.

i know WHAT the spires are supposed to sound like.  They sound exactly the same as they did in EQ1.  The sound is broken, distorted, interrupted and all but nonfunctional...  "wonky" is one thing.  WHACK is another.  This is not "wonky".  it's wrong.  As i said, i'll record what i hear and you can "enjoy" the "wonkiness" for yourself.

wonky...  good grief.
