Just curious if there was some sort of addon or some such that maybe enables the use of say an xbox 360 controller for use in game, ya know, could bind the ABXY buttons to certain spells and other buttons to do certain things, and of course the joysticks would enable you to move... I just think it'd be an interesting thing to use in game. just my opinion. But, any word on the streets about somethin like that?P.S. wasnt 100% sure where to post this, so just did it here.

I do use serveral other controllers for eq2 play thu namely a Z merc keyboard and belkin n52 speedpads that have a profil editor that allow you to bind keyboard shortcuts to the pad areas. they can take a little getting used to but once you do they can grealy increase your game play IMO. personaly i think the game system pads would be rather limiting since just one hotbar takes up 12 binds and they have no where close to that many keys. the belkin n52 has about 20 keys that are bindable ( not counting 5 i think its alt binds) making for a LOT of possiblies.Belkin n52Z merc board |

Aye, well i know the ps2 converter i got off ebay for about 4 bucks its a ps2 to usb one and wiht a little hunting you could proly find a bind program to run with it ( it may have one to be honest its been years since i used it for games like quake). i still personaly recommend the belkin n52 thu i have used those for years now and they rock once you get usedto having all your keys right under your finger tips. i usualy bind the arrow keys to the center set of keys on it. theres one in the middle has a little raised area that is easy to feel with out looking i use it as my forward key and sett he back and side arrows up going around it so i can find them with out looking.

I use an Xbox 360 controller with Pinnacle Profiler actuallyhttp://www.pinnaclegameprofiler.com/index.htmlAssign any key command to any buttonBasically...left stick is WASD, right stick is Mouse movement, Left trigger for right mouse, Right trigger for left mouse...etc, etc..So, most anything can be done by the buttons...except maybe skills...so key board still sits in lap for skill use and of course chattingCheers!

![]() I use a Belkin N52 as well and would highly recommend it. I use the first 12 keys numbered 1-12, the 13th and 14th for inventory and map. The d-pad I've got up for 'Ctrl' and down for 'Alt'. The thumb button I use for jump (space) and the wheel I use for zooming. So you see like that you have complete control of 3 hotbars. If you put your mind to it you could do a lot more considering it has 3 shift modes. That's all controlled with my left had while my right hand controls movement with my mouse. I don't think you would get that sort of control from a game pad. I've had a few programable controllers and non of them match up to the Belkin. I've also got a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard, but that is more or less made redundant apart from typing messages. No I don't work for Belkin. |

Lots of gamepad avaialable for PC. I recommend one of Speedlink, www.speedlink.deAlso there are keyboards available with a lot more functions then the avarage onesZ-board with exchangable keysets. They have a WoW keyset but not an EQ2 one, however with the standard keyset EQ2 is playable. But maybe the best I saw is this one, the Razer Tarantula. Very need also for other games (what there are other games?)http://www.razerzone.com/index.php?...;products_id=40edit some spelling mistakes
