So i was thinking about how bad avoidance tanking is. What i noticed it really isnt that bad to you start going after mobs that are a higher con then you. So wouldn't it be an easy fix to make bruiser/monk keep there avoid for another 4 levels above their current level rather then it going down.Lets say your level 70 with 80% avoidance, and your fighting a level 69 mob. You should have over 80% avoidance. if your fighting a 70 you will have 80%. as of right now if you go after something 71 your avoidance drops . so im thinking that if they changed it so brawlers could keep their avoidance for mobs 4 levels higher than them it would balance out their tanking a bit. so if your fighting a level 73 or 74 you should keep 80% avoidance. Some people are going to think that is unfair but really its not when you think about it. most plate tanks have multiple things going for them such as...1. Agro (amends and just better ae agro in general)2. Mit (We all know it, plate tanks have higher mit no matter how much we lie to ourselves)3. Avoidance (you know you have seen it too, the guard and berserker with 60% mit and 62% avoid)4. Rep (just the reputation that plate tanks have in general, people are more willing to accept them which also is how people see how good someone is tanking. if your a bruiser and you F*** up your done. the healer thinks you are the worst tank class now, when in reality Shadow knights are lol)So that berserker which has better agro than you and 60% avoid and mit can tank a level 74 mob quite well. not only will he get hit a little bit more than you but he can take the hit better. the difference between 60ish avoidance and 70 which most people have isnt that big. 10%? thats like what 4 hits at the cost of quite a bit damage off each hit. but if we kept our avoidance for a few levels higher than us it would balance it out a bit more. the berserker would have maybe 50% avoid and mit vs that 74 and we would have about 70% avoid and about 35% mit vs that level 74. so our mit would still be scaling down which we would take more damage but we wouldn't be hit every time the mob swings, like a rock.Im just throwing some stuff out there, by no means are these numbers accurate. me personaly i have like 56% mit and 70-74ish % avoid depending on the group. but i have grouped with berserker's and guardians with 60%ish avoidance and way more mit than i will ever have and they dont even get hit. when they do its like if someone flicked them in the ear. ouch it hurts. So im just throwing this out there. if you can get past all my bad grammar congrats and hope this puts some thoughts in your head.

We are "superior group tanks" that are SO awesome we dont need any skill sets for raid tanking. Thats from the devs themselves. I've given up, and only play LON now :palso, try putting it on this thread as its like the same topic.http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=376799
