![]() Hi there, I've had my computer reformatted like 3 hours ago, and I went to install everquest 2 and everything installed fine.. then opened up the launcher and scanned through the files and then started to update.. then after like 10-20mins it said cancelled. I was confused so i clicked to re start the update and it happens to stop on one file then cancel itself. I restarted my computer and it still does it :/ The file it continuosly stops on is "Char_mounts.vpk_delta..." I'm not sure if it is common or not but is there anyway I can get through this error? Thanks EDIT: Does it have anything to do with NET. framework? |

try closing the launcher, opening windows explorer and locating the file, delete it and empty the recycle bin and try again

I have a similar problem. I have been playing the trial for faydwer all day with no problems. I decided to reinstall eq2 and my problems started with the patcher. It got down to 0 time left while patching, then it hung on the last file. The whole thing quit responding. Fine.. I tasked out of the launcher and restarted it. Now it gets 1 pixel shy of finishing its "scanning files...." and hangs and becomes unresponsive. I've tried reinstalling and all, nothing works. I can't get the launcher to even get to the patcher.
