Somehow I cannot fathom taking a paper thin class like a Coercer, and dedicating 24+ AA points to MELEEING.

Am I just not seeing something, because it does sound like it would be fun. Also, is Hypnosis worth it, or is it too gimped/duration to short/too situational?

Thanks for any help you can give. SMILEY

Hypnosis is useless. Even if you go down the line for something else, you can find the points better spent somewhere else.I'm using the Strength line myself right now. It's a little tough building up the strength gear, but doable. There's actually a lot of Str/Int gear in the end game that even comes with +subj stats. I'm seriously considering spec'ing to Str/Agi now instead of Str/Wis... slow casting is starting to kill me.I do not raid that much anymore though, and I wouldn't recommend it for such. Also, it's rather expensive going out and getting this entire second set of gear, heh.Now if they free'd up the onehander requirement on the line, autoattack could become very very nice DPS with the Str line. Enough to compete with Agi/Int... Right now though, I use it because I want to still DPS even though things are being stunned and cutting my Reactive DPS right down. I also went the control spell AA's in EoF, and can easily keep at least one mob stun locked.I've found that for anything non-Epic, going into melee doesn't matter if you are plate or cloth... you usually aren't the one being hit anyways. Then again, in Epic fights.. even a plate tank goes down fast if he's not in defensive with someone dedicated to keeping him alive.
