This isn't a coercer problem.  It is a mechanics problem.  Try searching for 'macro'.  You will get a wealth of information that will apply to all of your toons and not just your coercer.

Best way is to press "O" and drag your mez spell into it from your spell book or right click the hot key and select create macro.

Once the spell in there you might want to add a command.

Have A warning letting others know you have mezed the target, something like

"/g %T has been Mezed you break it you deal with it!!"

/g = group chat, %t puts the targets name in there.

Then you might want to add another line to disable auto attack.

/autoattack 0 or /autoattack off, both work

Also note that if you have put a DoT on the mob the mez will break anyways..

From Eq1 'You wake it, you Tank it, 'nuff said."Haven't used it much in EQ2 as even in to the 40s I haven't seen many groups used to playing with mezzing coercer. Last night was an exception. Group I was in on AB was fantastic, we would get adds and I just AE mezzed and then single targeted mez as we mowed them down.

I didn't linked casting spell and the macro say.

If you wanna cast and you get interruptted you have to recast and if you only use macro you spamm it each timeIf you hit macro [Removed for Content] line comes and 2secs later it's mezzed ( even mop is not in range atm )You need the icon anyway to see when you are able to cast it again. And you can't ninjia mezz SMILEYI would only make a macro with /g --> %T <-- mezzedor something like that hehe, but don't link the spell with it if you have to mezz a lot you would spamm it a bit to much by accident if unluckyand you can use only 1 spell for that macro, so AE Mezz or Single mezz.

I've got a macro setup where I do the following/mine   (This is an emote that has a voice over component as well as emote text that identifies my target)/say "Please don't poke the sleeping %R or you will get eaten."/usea Mezz spellI only use that one in PuGs and only enough times for people to get the message.  I have the mez ability by itself in one of my hotbars as well.  I use that the most.
