![]() I've just started playing EQ2 with a friend who's been playing for a while. I have a newer system with a faster processor and more memory and video card with more memory than she does yet I still get video lag at the same settings she's playing on. I get really laggy during battle when spells and effects are going off. this is my pc I have added nothing except the video card. http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/4...59/4659nv.shtml this is the video card I added http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16814130100 Thanx in advanced for your time |

What video card does she have? The 7300GT is bottom barrel not much better then your onboard Intel that came with the system. It is possible she has a lower numbered video card then you do but it is more powerful.

![]() luckily the manufacturer offers a step up program that allows me to buy a bettr vid card during the first 90 days and deduct the full purchase price of my original. would this be a better option? |

That's a better choice indeed, here is a comparisation graph to help you out (note it's based on overall fps, higher is better) http://www23.tomshardware.com/graph...2&chart=318 |
