Here’s an idea I was thinking about back when I first saw that set items would be coming in EoF. I had forgotten about it, but the crafting naked thread reminded me, so I figured I’d throw it up here. Starting a new thread, because I didn’t want to clog up the wish list thread (but I will add a link to this thread there). I only made a mockup of one piece for the sake of keeping the post from being too long and boring. Anyhow, what about making a artisan armor set as a tradeskill faction reward? I am envisioning it as a recipe book containing all recipes, purchasable at 5000 faction, with Patterns purchasable at the faction levels listed below; this prevents giving sets to player who did not earn it via consignment. The recipes could require the rare raw that would be granted by a Favor of Innovation for that particular tradeskill class, so that they would be flagged as Mastercrafted with the makers mark of the wearer. Here I have thought out what might be a good level of faction to allow the patterns to be salable, and the tradeskill level at which that piece could become wearable. I know that a new tradeskilling toon couldn’t have 10000 faction at level 20, but someone who resets tradeskill class could. I am also unsure of the rate that someone would gain faction if he or she were to level exclusively through doing writs, so these are just a ballpark estimate. I grouped the pieces at intervals of 5k faction, with breaks where the set bonuses would be awarded. The change in stat reduction increases as the more prestigious pieces are attained, so that it totals 595 in total stat reduction. I also added Focus effects to the Chest and Leg pieces to match the set armor of adventuring classes, affecting the two sets of counters that had the same costs for both durability and progress sets. I know that Domino has very limited time to do all the projects that she wants to take care of, so maybe this could be something to be set aside as a project to be eventually done, but I think that by having rewards like this, it might help to mitigate that idea that tradeskilling is somehow lesser than adventuring (please don't use this thread to talk about this perception). Or, maybe Domino wants to hire a paid Intern that could do this sort of thing, who is fresh out of college and doesn't yet have a job lined up? Hint? Hint?

![]() I kinda like the idea of a special clothing for crafting. Just make it cloth, to be sure that everyone can use it. |

Great Idea, It also would be great if they could get the art dept involved (after the Skelltion revamp) and give each TS class a Unquic style, Like Provs ware an offical Chefs uniform, while Armor/Weoponsmiths each ware a differant style Blacksmiths outfit. and so forth. I also think the Uniforms should be class restricted, wich means if you respec your tradeskill you would have to make yourself a new set of TS cloths.
