I am a newbie thinking about starting a new guild in Qeynos and wondering if I should accept evil players or not.  Will there be problems if I accept them? Any answer or advice will be appreciated.

 Thx.

On PvE, I suspect a lot of guilds have both good and evil players.

There is no downside, penalty etc. In fact it'll give your guild more variety than limiting to one side (since certain classes can only be evil and certain ones can only be good)

Roleplay perspective - We left our guild on Lucan D'Lere to play PvP.  We were an evil race/class only guild on LDL while we were active.  When we moved, we left some characters there but the guild pretty much was inactive.  A family member of one of our leaders offered to ressurrect the guild and run it while we were off PvPing.  We said alright and let him do so.

Except.. it is now pretty much a Qeynos only guild.  He was nice enough to let us keep our leader status, even though we only come over to play once in a while, but it is really really hard sometimes to roleplay and interact within that guild now as our Innoruuk devout Shadowknights.  Now, I pretty much log in, do my thing and leave.  My character feels alienated where once she was surrounded by like minded individuals.

I am not sure if you are a roleplayer or not, but bad things can come from good and evil mixing.  Now, if you just want to be a neutral "come as you are" guild, I see nothing wrong with it.  It is only us crazy roleplayers you will have to worry about.  SMILEY

On regular servers, guilds have no real city affiliation these days.  Anyone can join, anyone can contribute status.

As said, on non-PVP, non-RP servers there is no downside.

I personally belong to a mixed-bag guild and we are quite happy with how it works out for us.

I play an evil character that belongs to a mostly good guild. I had hoped to find an evil guild, but when I was researching guilds on my server this one simply appealed to me the most. There are no penalties or problems grouping with the other faction, and we are able to do the guild status raids by having each faction talk to the quest giver in their own cities. I do like to shock the goodies by doing odd things, such as building a dungeon in my basement and occasionally trying to convert people to Innoruuk.
