Sooo... are those of us who've been sitting at the level cap for over a year now gonna have no vitality at all when RoK goes live?  Well I guess it's irrelevant if it's a week or a year that a player has been at 70 before the level cap goes up.  I just know the last two times the level cap was raised if you were at the cap already you had 0% vitality.  I know myself well enough to realize when the expansion is released that I won't have the patience to sit around until my main character builds up some vitality.  I would like for one day... just ONE DAY to actually have a full bar of vitality on my main character!  I don't think I've ever actually done that.  If there is new content to be had I just chew through it.  Then I hit the level cap... and then when the level cap is raised I'm back to 0 vitality.  Oddly enough I keep forgetting to use my exp potions for veteran awards.  So I suppose I can have a "pretend" day of vitality =p  Still, it'll be over a year and a half I've been at 70 when RoK is released.  You'd think that would be enough to earn a little vitality.

Well...unless your character hasn't been logged on for the entire time they were 70, you would've been doing stuff that would (normally) drain your vitality. Furthermore, it's designed to level the playing field a bit, so all the 70s are on equal footing when RoK is released - no matter if they've been 70 for a year or a day.

I believe if you were at level cap when the previous expansions came out that raised the level cap you didn't have vitality.  So my guess is it would be the same for RoK.

When RoK first comes out, there will be enough new quest, exploration and collection XP to get a good chunk of XP regardless of vitality, so it won't matter much. After about a day or two, your vitality will have returned.

Plus all the collection and quests that are waiting to be turned in by those who have to get to 80 yesterday. The ones that bypass all but the most XP content and then complain because there is nothing to do.

I'll get to 80 regardless and honestly I won't even be in a big rush to do so.  I know it sounds like a contradiction... and I suppose it is.  Why do I want vitality if I'm not in a big rush?  I guess it's cause somewhere in my brain I feel like I'm being cheated.  All my alts will get to enjoy the benefits of vitality, but my main character will barely even see it.

You regain vitality at a fixed rate, while XP gain slows down considerably at higher levels. You'll have your vitality back in a few days.

Why do you want full vitality? Forgive me saying so but.. are you really in an insane rush to cap yourself and be stuck again? Take your time and enjoy the ride..
