Gardens? Is it possilbe?

I was wondering if it was possible to place and grow a garden in your house, and if so, how does one get started with it? I get items all the time that seem to allude to plant food, but I never see any plants themselves. I'm about to upgrade to a bigger house that has ample garden area in the patio section and wanted to see how green my thumbs were. Thanks.

The things alluding to plant food - bones, soil etc that have "would make a good fertilizer" or similar in the tool tip - are used for the Carnivorous Plants given as a reward for purchasing the Kingdom of Sky expansion. Look here for a full explanation of how to care for your plant.
