Is there a preferred selling location in Freeport?

I'm looking for a little input on selecting Freeport housing for my crafter(s). I'm looking to move one to non-guild housing in Freeport (3-4 slot place max), but I want to choose something that is convenient to crafting areas and preferably convenient for buyers to stop by. Has anyone noticed better foot traffic in any particular locations?

The racial districts are convenient, but my Freeps need a nicer home base. I'm a relatively recent convert to Freeport so I'm still used to the Qeynos layout. I'm afraid I still get turned around about what zone has what... like finding a Freeport Reserve branch when I need one *lol*.

Any observations you might have would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also from Unrest server, so hopefully this will help a bit. South Freeport is good place to start. Non status homes on Freedom Rd. and they're three rooms. Where my 3 room is in SFP isn't that far a run from the WFP gate, and SFP has access to one of the starter villages, I think either Big Bend or Beggar's Court. When I've bought from an FP seller, I find they're either in starter villages but mostly in Blood Haze Inn in WFP where the broker is. I've rarely been to a seller in Jade Tiger Inn in EFP. The other two areas are Justice and Freedom Rds. Freedom is in SFP, can't remember where Justice is, I think also SFP. Also the crafting instance in WFP is nearby the SFP gate. This is all off the top of my head...hope it helped out a bit.

Thanks for the input, Denmom. This is a subject I'm also very interested in, since I don't know anything about Freeport housing but would really love to get one of the 5-room houses soon. Is there the equivalent, in Freeport, of the 2 Bayle and 4 Bayle SQ houses?

West Freeport FTW - Blood Haze Inn Room - purchase 24g36, rent 97s44, slots 3

In the same building as the broker.

West Freeport has no-zone: broker, bank, mender, pet shop, stables, tradeskill trainer, and all crafting stations except for jewelers and sage. These can be found close to the East Freeport gate in a regular tradeskill instance.

South Freeport:

1 Justice Road - 5 room, 6 slot house: purchase 4p83g84 300k status, rent 19g35s36 60k status, guild lvl 30

1 and 2 Freedom Road - 5 room, 5 slot house: purchase 3p87g24 250k status, rent 15g48s96 50k status, guild lvl 30

North Freeport:

1 Integrity Road - 5 room, 5 slot house: purchase 3p87g24 250k status, rent 15g48s96 50k status, guild lvl 30

The best place for a 5-room house is 1 Compassion Road in NFP. It is right near the Beggar's Court gate so you still get a decent amount of foot traffic.

EFP would have been my first choose because of the bell, but I don't believe there is any 5-room houses. SMILEY

Other than the racial hovels, there are two brokers in the city (that I know of).

One is in EFP on the southern pier (near the collection turn-in rat)

The other is in the three-room apartment building (name escapes me) in NFP behind the arena.

Three brokers.. there is one in the Outfitters shop in South FP, near the docks. The West FP Broker is in Blood Haze Inn.

West is the best zone for me, Banker, Broker, City Merchant, Mender, no zone stove, saw, forge, chem table and loom. The stove in the Blood Haze is the only crafting table in the zone subject to any Lag, as it is near the Broker there.

There is also a full crafting instance with writ givers behind the Coalition of Tradesfolk, and a crafting trainer in the Coalition building for all >50 books. West is the only city zone with a full TS instance.
