Incinerate ?

Last week my guild went on a raid I didn't make it on time, but I had our parce channel still on my chat.

I noticed one of the battles, with our wizard topping the parce with the spell Incinerate for alot of damage. Then last night one of our wardens told me he got killed in PVP fight by a wizard, and this same Incinerate did well over 1k damage on him.

Am I missing something here? or is Incinerate a lvl 17 spell that shouldn't do more than 60 points of damage.

Could this be some sort of PVP server bug?

is it possible he was using ball of incieration + wrath of the burning prince?

he's a lvl 70 , but what is Wrath of burning prince?

Incinerate is a Solusek Ro miracle. So is Wrath of the Burning Prince. Wizards should use Wrath because their Ball of Lava will hit for ~40k. Other classes choose incinerate because it yields more damage for them.

Incinerate is a Sol Ro Miracle. With Wrath of the Burning prince it would still show up as the spell you cast (actually it would show up twice), it would just do a lot more damage. Wrath of the Burning Prince is also a Sol Ro Miracle.

I use Wrath of the Burning Prince + Ball of Incineration all the time. Normally hits for around 38k-48k. I use it as my "expensive manaburn" on raids, since I dont actually have Manaburn as it sux =)

You actually get more than that out of Wrath + BoL. Normally my BoL w/ Wrath will hit for about 50k, plus you have the original BoL cast that will crit and hit for 7-8k, plus any procs that go off will crit as well. It can easily be a 65k cast if you get a couple good procs with it.

Freehand affects this as well and I have gotten a 59K along with a 14k coombo from the 2 hits of Ball of lava not sure if procs went off or not, but either way this miricle is totally awesome for wizzys.

You know I have just grabbed that miracle and was going to test. So glad to know it hits for that much - looking forward to using it now!

No, it does not work with Nova, Fusion or Manaburn.

When EoF first came out WotBP was sort of bugged and you could fireshape ice nova for WotBP and people were getting 1,000,000+ hits with it as well as procs each getting the 100,000Kish damge as well, nothing like gettign a grizzfazzle proc and char and burnign afflivction all for 100K a piece. They have since fixed the spell and I think it has a cap of around 60K now for the bigger of the 2 hits. Also if you use WothBP with firestorm it dosent give you the super nuke just really nice crits on every mob you hit around 5-6K per mob, with freehand maybee 8k per mob.

Now the spell has to be heat based in its base form to get the supernuke, but will crit any spell if you use firestorm on it.
