Something I have seen on a few other MMORPG's I have played was treaure hunting. It would be a GREAT addition. Add in treasure maps to drops do, add shovels, and then the hunting locations ((which generally were everywhere)) But that was always loads of fun. Kind of like a quest you could say. Examine the looted map and it gives you a general location and then you go dig around and get loot plus xp for completing it?

there's already a quest like that in game... its in commonlands.  I think its called the 99 year old port.  you have a device that glows colors based on how close or far you are from the treasure...and you run around CL until you find it, then you dig it up.

also, if you get the scrying stones on nek docks, whenever you see a rainbow glow, you can scry it and have a chance to pop a mob or a small treasure.
