tha The last 3 times that I tried to play EQ2, I received this message. : “the application out of memory when requesting 112672 btys limit 512Mb. This application requested the run time to terminate in an unusual way contact the application support team” I am playing in Neriak, on Butcherblock with a new character. I am stuck in Neriak & can’t access the game to get my character out. I tried to access help through the sign in port of the game but I received this message “ there is a problem with the web sites security certificate”. My partner has been experiencing the exact same problem and was also stuck in Neriak. We also noticed that task manager (alt+ctrl+del) listed three instances of everquest2.exe each time it happened, though we had started the program only once each time. Rebooting made no difference. I however logged into his account on my computer and experienced no problems. I was able to get onto his character and move it from Neriak. We're still poking about looking for solutions/causes at this end, but I thought I'd let you know you're not the only person experiencing this.

The out of memory is a known issue they are gathering data on to assist in tracking it down

From personal expierence I received this error a lot when I was running at the highest graphics settings, dialed it down to balanced and have had a noticably less of these errors.

snowfleck Loremaster Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 25	My partner has been experiencing the exact same problem and was also stuck in Neriak. We also noticed that task manager (alt+ctrl+del) listed three instances of everquest2.exe each time it happened, though we had started the program only once each time. Rebooting made no difference. I however logged into his account on my computer and experienced no problems. I was able to get onto his character and move it from Neriak. We're still poking about looking for solutions/causes at this end, but I thought I'd let you know you're not the only person experiencing this.
