Can someone please explain how selling from your home works? How do you set it up? What do you need to buy to get started? How many items, etc. etc..

![]() 1. Purchase an Inn room. 2. Purchase a Bulletin Board from a merchant. 3. Place Board in your new room. 4. Purchase a box. 5. Click on your Board to open it. In the upper right corner will be 2 empty spaces. Put your Box in one of the spaces. 6. Open your inventory and drag the items you want to sell to the big empty space on your Board. 7. Click on the item in your Board and select 'set price'. This will open a smaller window, allowing you to set the desired price for the item. Congratulations, you are now participating in the commerce of Norrath. |

That's what I really want to know. If i'm not mistakne the 1st reply has always been the case you could sell that way. I don't know how to do like he asked about. Selling out of your home without people having to pay broker fees. |

![]() Not too much difference to the above instructions change "box" to sales display - these can be bought from the broker - they are crafted by carpenters from rare woods, so they can be expensive. Once you have your sales display in the "space" on the broker sales board, if you are in your room (and not at one of the various brokers doing the same) you can right click the display and "place" is an option just like any furniture. Place it somewhere - please put it somewhere obvious - I hate searching a 5 room mansion for hidden sales displays lol. UYour room access will automatically be set so prospective shoppers can now visit and access your sales crates without brokerage fees. Note you must keep your rent paid to allow this form of selling - while your sales will continue with brokerage if you let the rent run out. (and you log in daily of course) |

In my experience only for real expensive things people are willing to travel to a players house. In most other case the often take the broker fee just as it is. Femke.

>>>In my experience only for real expensive things people are willing to travel to a players house. If they have a convenient house (which means for me South Qeynos, Nettleville or Starcrest), then I will likely go to visit them for anything over 10g. For less convenient ones, I will often just buy from the broker unless it is really expensive. I wish more people who sell a lot would move into the city so I don't have to venture out to the newbie towns. Fortunately, lots of people do live in SQ now and I can often find what I am looking for in town.
