Either an upgrade to charm (what, 40 minute max. duration as the only real difference?) or an upgrade to Possession (even less exciting).

Since charm is a verb, as are the names of all the other charm spells, puppetmaster wouldn't seem to follow. Puppetmaster sounds more like a buff to me. Upgrade to posession is more likely than charm, but that really would suck! Illusionist is getting doppelganger - all the doppelgangers I've seen so far (that I can think of off the top of my head) are clones of the person they're cast on.. edit: Oh and I don't think it will be an upgrade. I imagine they will add a new spell at 75 and upgrade all of the rest that are due for upgrades as per other tiers.

these are new "spell visuals", so it's safe to say that those are the new spells we will be getting because only new spells have new visuals, upgrades uses old visuals
