Ugh.

I am not paying 35p for a master. I just refuse to. I'm trying to look up zones on Alakahzams to find out where the Warden masters drop with very little success.

Where do they drop for you? I have quite a bit of Adept III's, but I'd really like to have my buffs be masters since I'm getting into heavier raiding styles.

Help?

Hehe, yes warden masters do exist... except Benediction of the Wild... i have been waiting for 6 motnhs for that master to pop up on the broker then i'm fully mastered.

Master drops are random, they dont drop off certain mobs =( So either you get lucky or start farming for the 35p SMILEY lol

*sighs* Just as I thought...

Well, looks like I'm back to harvesting rares and selling them, then.

Some masters are definitely more rare than others.   Sylvan Streams,  Protection of the Oak,  Benediction of the Wild, Nature's Ally, Protecting Grove all seem to be rare as hell on the all the servers I play on.

nod, 57-60 masters are harder to find and very expensive on the broker, they have to be farmed outta Poets Palace or other T6 instances

I have them all except Benediction of the Wild.  I have never seen it drop, on the broker for any amount, or heard of someone on my server who has it.

Tier 6 masters are iffy, but at 70 you can get them by 2 grouping some of the raid instances.  A side benefit of that:  we fondly refer to Gates of Atek'ahten and Court of Al'Afaz as "the Courts and Gates of AA"   nice guild status too.

I have all of my masters including the ancient teachings.  I've seen Benediction of the Wild drop outta of Poet's Palace the Return and I believe once in Teneberous Tangle.  You have to willing to pay some to get the 57-60's nowadays but just keep your eye out.  And hey it's only money you'll always make more.

aye they exist though some are really really rare. I ended up finding chloroplat I think its called (the green leaf single main dot spell) at lv 42 or so in re. It definatly gives my warden the edge on keeping anything alive. http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.h...l?eq2item=28090

Tinkering and transmuting have definitely changed the amount of masters found on the brokers. Add to that the preference of loot drops for oppositely aligned classes and you get a situation where the best way to get a class specific drop is to play something opposite of it. Since wardens are neutral, it might be better to play a fighter, scout, or mage for a while.  All kidding aside, your best bet is to join a fat guild, full of raiders who are willing to spot you the master when it pops up. I have a transmuter who periodically buys masters off of the broker and crushes them for adornment reagents. There has got to be a better way to make these reagents, but destroying items and spells doesn't seem to be helping your particular search for improvement. Sorry.

Benediction of the Wild M1 does exist. I have never seen it either, until this past week. There are now 2....yes... TWO... on Kithicor broker. One for 55p and the other for 120p!! I think I'll have about... 1 day to save that coin up, hehe.

For the lvl 60/61 ones you can always farm green mobs hoping for a rare trash master drop since they can be any master of that lvl. One of the good things about these drops are that a lot of times they can be sold for a lot if its not the one you want usually so you can buy the one you want when it pops unless you are like me and give money to me and my wife and daughers alts allt the time. lol.

Since we'll see a lvl bump to 80 I'm not all that willing to spend any kind of crazy amounts of PP on any master pre 66.   Would rather save up that cash for the next round of masters heh.

Going for masters is something to keep me playing until then though. Gives a goal like completing shiny collections, lol.

Hopefully it will take me more then a month to get the next ten levels this time and another month for any new AA's. I didn't even grind for them, just helped out groups hunting named or doing quests as well as doing all the solo quest lines available for fun.

I can agree with this on one hand, on the other, even a WEEK of having all Masters helps if you are raiding.   If you aren't, then Adept 3's are probably even more than you need in most cases.   I do agree with wanting all masters 'just because'.  I want a complete set.  Right now I feel like I'm missing Volume II - the "B" section in my Encyclopedia Wardentanica set because I can't find Benediction of the Wild /frownfrownfrown

This said, I wouldn't spend a ton of plat for any spell no matter how I was playing.   Some prices (50p for Sylvan Streams??? no wai) are insane.

Arielle is right, even tho its will be pointless to have in 4 months or so it still helps progress your guild NOW. If everyone in your guild thought that way you wouldnt make it very far at all because everyone would be rolling adept 3's.

Heck with that kind of attitude you might as well stop raiding period because the hours you spend each night trying to get gear will be outdated in 4 months SMILEY

Camping I don't mind. I'm an EQ1 vet. I had to camp a few of my spells and equipment back in the day. As long as I know where to find them, I'll be fine. Thanks for the link!
