I share my account with my foster child, and he is at the point of playing now where he wants to play more often, which interferes with what I want to do in the game. We have found that sharing the account doesn't work very well anymore. I was looking over the rules and restrictions listed on the character transfer page, and it mentioned something about having the same ownership on both accounts in order to transfer. He wants his own account, and I was wondering if I would have to set it up in my name/info, or if he could have it in his own, or what the restrictions are in general, as they seem pretty vague in the guidelines I read. I apologize if this isn't in the right forum, but I didn't really see one dedicated to these types of questions.

depends on how old your foster kid is... Don't you have to be 18 to open the account? Or is it 13? if you make it in your name, you could let him play on it...

He's 15 and will be turning 16 in July, still a minor. I don't know the exact rules on account creation, but maybe I have to make the new account in my name if he's a minor?

In fact, strictly by the EULA, you were supposed to have done so at the beginning and not both be on the same account. |

Ah, I must have always misread that part in the EULA. I thought it said you could share an account with (1) minor if they were your child/you were their guardian, but it does indeed say that they can only play in place of you, and sharing isn't allowed. Thank you for clearing that up.
