I've searched te forums, and I can't find an answer for this, so please forgive me.

I've started playing the game with two friends, and we have two more that want to try it out and possibly join.  We've given them the 7 day free trial codes.  Assuming they want to continue and join us for good, will they have to start from scratch when they buy and install the game and create their account, or will they be able to transport the characters they played in the trial to their new account?  Thanks for the help.

No, if they add the serial number to their Station account, they get upgraded to a paying account and keep their characters. Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLere Vaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

That's correct. You upgrade the account and keep the characters. There's going to be a lot of downloading to do, but the toons will still be there.

Make sure your'e all going to the same server. If you're all real life friends, you may want to consider forming your own guild!
