First attempt at making a signature

comments please. image is 2 layers of raster in Corel's paintshop pro 11 (which I am very new at using too) any suggestions? please include simplified commands in paintshop along with any suggestions as I am TOTALLY NEW to graphics editing. I found photoshop CS too hard to understand for example, LOL paintshop pro is more newbie friendly. I already know a border would help. that will be added after anything else =D
