Do caster robes start looking better?

I am tired of walking around in robes that look like Rainbow Bright threw up on. I am this totally handsome Ogre being forced to wear funny looking gear. Its hard to look cool dressed in such ugly robes, I mean you have to look good while you pvp someone or whats the point. SMILEY

If anyone has a cool looking robe they can screeny that would be super.

the robe of varsoon, its blood red. you've seen me in it on TS docks when you were dropping that griff on people. SMILEY

Yesterday was it? Other than that, there is a nice t6 robe. Its plain pink. How cool and ogrish isnt that? (There is a patterned pink robe that drops in nek castle as well, calingious folds that is closer to your level)

There's this really cool green robe that's a quest given item that is actually better than the T2 mastercrafted stuff. Looks awesome...specially on an Arasai Necro. /grins wickedly

That reminded me of EQ1 when I had recieved a bunch of complaints of how my Iksar SK was twinked because he had an iksar regen BP. So I put on a shade silk robe, some [Removed for Content] stat robe that just had like 4 AC, but was dark brown, and looked totally sweet with my naginata. Then I PKed some guys and they sent me a tell saying, "[Removed for Content]? What class are you?" They totally thought I was a necro except I was meleeing them. More on topic: I remember there was a red robe that I got as a quest reward, I think related to Fallen Gate. It might have been the access quest. It was a great red robe, and I wore it on my warden for a long time even though the stats sucked, because scouts would think I was a mage and would attack me only to get owned hardcore because wardens are so cool.

/agree Robes look HORRIBLE, I mean utterly disgusting...whoever designed them and thought. "Hey, that looks cool" is amazingly stupid. And how they actually got approved for the game amazes me even more...perhaps it was the last thing they didn't fix before the release deadline, and then they all got their memories wiped and altered to think that robes were "OK" I just don't get it... I also stick with robes that look better than others over stats, and will even go with the ones that look like chain, but can be worn as cloth... I'd rather take a hit to int, get some extra sta or something and not look like a fool... SMILEY

There are thankfully plenty of cloth armour options that arent robes at all, let alone nylon quilted bathrobes as I once wore for 10 levels...

While on topic of robes. Why when you hit the option "Show Hood" does you get a hood on but theres still the laying against yuour back. Or is there some new double hoody thing ive yet wear =).
