Hi, I hope this is the place for a question about lag. I have been getting significant spell lag, regularly more than 10 seconds, whilst raiding. A little lag on tells, none on movement or anything else. No jerkiness etc either. My PC isn't brilliant so I really do run on 'raid' settings whilst raiding. But here's the thing- at the start of each encounter all is fine, but as the encounter progresses the lag worsens. By the end of the fight I can no longer predict what I am going to cast next or when, but when it is over, I catch up, cast all queued spells, and it's back to normal. On short fights it isnt a problem, and fighting out of encounter (such as the trash mobs by Harla'Dar) is fine, but in long encounters I am nearly useless as a healer. I am running a 2800 Athlon, 2Gb DDR RAM, 250Gb HDD (plenty of space) and a 9800 pro. I have nothing on download and my speeds appear to be fine. I have tried shutting down all programs and closing Explorer. I have run my anti-virus scanner and Adaware. Nothing has changed since last week when all was fine, even smooth, until we ran Halls of the Seeing (the whole raid lagged and was kicked from the zone)- since then it has been terrible but as far as I know, only for me. I really hope someone can help, or at least point me in the right direction! Many thanks, Necrotulip (Guk)
