I have been thinking lately about the trademark name that SOE have taken "Rise of Kunark" Now if we think about this, i believe it can say alot about the basic storyline of the next expansion. Basing it on the old Ruins of Kunark... so lets try First and foremost i believe that Venril Sathir will be Emperor of the new Empire (( This matches well with the Overlord Lich thing )) The Sarnak will likely have alot of land in Kunark now, so far i have not heard much about them The Kunark Frogloks, i have been thinking about these people for a while too, i believe they might actually be the largest tribe/clan/nation of Frogloks now, from what i understand they where not believers in Marr but Veeshan. we know that the Court of pain still exist... however we also know Cabilis is now mostly drowned.. but maybe Venril or the current Emperor rebuilt Sebilis?

The frogloks of Kunark dont worship Veeshan, but moreso Trakanon himself in particular. If Sebilis were to be rebuilt, Venril would have to go through him first.

With an army, it shouldn't be too much trouble SMILEY  Or Trak could have moved elsewhere on his own.

My question is with Rise of Kunark coming out what gods/goddesses will come with it?

However my biggest question is what is all of this adding up to? Desert of Ro, The Overrealm, Lost Continent of Faydwere, and now Kunark.  Unfortunately my hands are a bit tied since I never played EQ1 knowing little about each place. SMILEY

Hard to tell as the few gods involved in EQ1 Kunark's lore are already back (Cazic, Inny & Tunare)

My guess would be Bertoxxulous (evil), Karana (good) and Bristlebane (neutral).

Prexus also has a link to Kunark: he helped the nature Tart and Karana flood Kunark at one time (ah'm hoping for Uncle Berty {for mah Gnecro} and Prexus {for mah Eru-Din})

i dont think the iksar will have some huge empire.  i have a feeling there will be some sort of war happening in kunark involving all the creatures.

Thank you.  Saved me the trouble of pointing out Karana is a neutral god.

I find it hard to believe that we'd allow a heretic (and an undead one to boot) be emperor... unless of course he conquered what was left after the Rallosian invasion; that's a possibility.

Oh man, Iksars enslaved by Sarnaks.  I'd be the first to be on the boat over to Kunark to free my people.

Wait, you're a paladin? Well then that changes things a little bit. Your fellow iksar are gonna question why they were saved by someone who doesn't worship Cazic Thule.

A Kunark expansion does ask some important questions since a lot of us our very familiar with the Kunark lore over any other expansion. It will interesting to see what happened to the old Iksar home but by the way things are going it will be a dungeon of some sort i'd imagine. I can see the port of FV come back as a starting hub or as a waypoint over run by something. It would be nice to see LoIO become a major leveling ground like it used to be. I remember spending many days there and inside the Sarnak fortress. There was just so much going on in Kunark that I hope they can revisit all the old stomping grounds. The Burning Woods was another popular hangout and maybe they'll touch on what those huge craters were made from... (obviously from Space Debris but from where) I can only guess at some sort of Sarnak upheavel, VS will still be around in some form, and I expect Trak to have a huge position also somewhere along the story arc.

It's even better than that.  I'm an Iksar Paladin who worships Solusek Ro.  Those enslaved Iksar will be SO confused.
