![]() Now i have done every quest in this zone. I just need to hand in my stormhammer sinature quest. And while the zone has tremendous potential i find the zone wanting. I think i have figured out why this zone is lacking. Specifically it is 2 hour respawning ring events with random named w random chest treasured/legendary chest quality. How come i cna do an instance like valdoons and obelisk and be ganranteed a legendary drop and spend 2 hours clearing every named in kaladim and not recieve anything better then treasured. It certainly can not be considered the influx of items since instaces provide a much higher return of rewards. Here is the dilemma for a zone intended for multiple groups but realistically has enough content for 1 group. I formed my group at Zone in we invisied to the avatar of seriliis ring cleared it got the serillis gloves (this is the only decent ring event w a garaunateed legendary drop) 2 random named that have a chance to drop legendary but is a random chance on a random mob. 2 hour repop Whiel invising to the bank event kraxxis the rare spawn Iron lord named was up killed it for treasured crap. Went to the bank cleared it PH up. next we invis to the arnena clear it for nothing but treasured crap (2 hour repop), move to the gambler event clear it PH up nothing. Kill the trainer PH and the scavanger named. Again 1 treasured and another no loot. We invis to the towers clear both get 2 treasured chests off the 2 named goblins (1 hour repop). Invis to the cliff event (2 hour repop) clear it the random named did not pop. No loot. Invis to the queen room kill the queen (named that never drops loot) evac to zone in again and wait for 30 minutes for the ring events to repop. We did this for 5 hours on saturday completing 2 waves of ring events and saw 2 legendary serilis gloves. A zone ment for multiple groups. was completely cleared by 1 group w minimal rewards. That is the issue with this zone. P.S I also should mention there is a named in the mines and a ring event in the yard w goblins that spawn rock formations that never spawns a named and a named solo kobold outside of towers. This zone has serious issues because it does not support multiple groups. I will provide feedback in a reply to improve this zone.

![]() The main issue with the zone is total lack of content for multiple groups. The zone need to be revamped to include enough content in each area to support multiple groups. ( P.S there is nothing wrong w 2 hour repop reing events but each ring event must be garanteed 1 named w a garanteed legendary it should also include 1 random rare named w a garaunteed legendary) For anyone who played eq1 think of sebelis. I would love to see groups able to fight to specific areas and camp specific areas for rare named mobs w garanteed drops. There should several specific camps including: The arena area: ring event: 2 hour repop Gambler event: 1 hour repop 3 named PH's: trainer in gym, scavanger wander, and the officer training troops by arena The cliff event area: cliff event: 2 hour repop brell's brew ring event: should be made into a 1 hour ring event 3 named PH: named kobold anywhere, named queen, named bartender The bank/forge area: rock formation ring event: 2 hour repop bank ring event: 1 hour repop 3 named; Klaxxis(named minator), named banker, named balcksmith The citadel/avatar event: avatar: 2 hour repop fungus man event: 1 hour repop 2 named: fungi named, named rataliic on side by pool room Mines area: ring event in mines: 2 hour repop named ring event at bottom of mine: 1 hour repop 2 named in mines. Tower area: 2x 1 hour repop on towers 1 named kobold on hill outside tower. This should include enough content up to 5+ groups in 5+ areas. 2 horu ring events should include 1 final named w garanteed legedary and 2 random named (rare) 25% w ganranteed legendary. 1 hour ring events containt an uncommon (50%) named w ganranteed at legendary named PH are very rare 20% spawns 15 min repop all 2 hour ring event final named should have a chance to drop class legendary set gloves. the named kobold wandering the corridor between citadel and fungi nursery should become a fungi porter (not enough for bear quest) all porters and wandering kobolds should see invis. a wandering kobold need to be placed on the mine tracks and 2 see invis bugbears needs to wander around the arena.

![]() I am sure i will have to do one of these for New tunaria as well, because that zone has issues comparable to kaladimw ring events and content that goes unused because of bad time vs reward. Athough i have not spent much time in new tunaria due to not only the lack of group content but lack of quest content for the zone. Thus not providing me a reason to even fully test the zone.

![]() Hum.... no.... Kaladim is perfect as it is right now.... Even if some ring event are bugged once in a while because people dont finish them or kill one mob that is part of a ring event without knowing it'll reset by itself after X amount of time... Oh wait... you want more legendary chest.... Well I guess you had a bad luck cause I can do the 2 towers ring event (reset isn't 1 hour it's like 15mins...) and I get plenty of Master and legendary chest.... as for the tons of treasured gear I get... Well I get someone to transmute them for me!

The same thing could be said for mismoore catacombs. One group can keep the upper place locked down, two groups and your really starting to fight for content. There is just nothing in New Tunaria to bother with aside from AAxp from the few quests in the zone. That is three out of the four contested dungeons that offer very little content for a very few amount of people.

I'll agree, Kaladim can pretty easily be walked on by one group, but you can't hold everything as one group. I think it's a great zone with good mob density. The one thing I would like to see changed (which will punish me as well) is a buttload more see invis mobs. You shouldn't have been able to walk back to the avatar. I know there are some quest updates, so I'm not really saying it should be zone wide, but anything inside that inner ring, I'd love to see more see invis capable mobs.

The 2 tower ring events are not 15 minutes. But they are better then most ring events like the cliff because they at least always have a named pop even though the nameds rarely drop legendary or masters. Let me put it this way i have been in kaladim for 3 days 5+ hours each day i have seen at least 6+ page 10 fireknight pages drop. I have done every ring event in the zone every 1.5-2hours during that time. I have collected several mined diamonds and gold stiens. Finished the stormhammer and obtained a server disco on it. and i can flat out say in those 3 days COMPLETELY MONOPOLIZING the zone I have seen 1 legendary ring off the Arena Ringmaster, 1 master chest off the named picklord, 4 seriliss gloves, 1 warrior gloves, 1 cleric gloves , 1 druid gloves, 1 bard gloves, 1 BP off the scupltor, 1 ring off a tower named, 1 master spell off the tower named. I have finished every quest in zone. I am not just complaining becuase i did not get loot. I do not need the loot anyway. There is a specific problem with the zoen when one group can lock down every event and come out with less rewards then doing an instance. Its abotu time vs reward and a poorly designed contested zone that does NOT support multiple groups. There is one (1) good ring event in kaladim and it is the Citadel/avatar event, because it has 1 garanteed named and up to 3 random named. Each able to drop the class gloves. If the arena and the cliff event were comparable to the avatar event and MORE see invis mobs were placed throughout the zone then this zone could support multiple groups in at least 3 seperate areas. ![]() You answered your own question. If the respawn on the Kaladim events is 2 hours, you can do the event 10 times in the time you do Valdoon Twice. (Valdoon = 1hr to do, 18hr respawn, 1hr to redo = 20hrs). They are two different complementary systems. It is BECAUSE kaladim can be done again in two hours that it has lower drop rate than valdoon which is limited to once a day. Influx of items assuming 100% legendary drops would be: (assuming just 1 named) 1 legendary items from valdoon every 18 hours. 9 legendary items from kaladim every 18 hours. As you can see, the influx potential is far from the same.

![]() Well I hate you..... I've spent 3 days total, 13hrs per day either farming for page 10 or doing ring events or quests and actually..... Yeah 1 group can lock-down the zone, but not when they're doing ring events..... some ring event are freakin long.... Waterfall one... when you trio it it's not fast. Same for the 3 room ring event (Serilis). |

I said a FULL group not a boxed trio. The waterfall event takes less time then the serilis event. its 10 minutes tops. 3 waves and i am able to pull each wave down to the bridge. 3 waves of 4 sets of mobs consisting generally of a warden, swash, coercer, bruiser, brigand, troub. Was able to lock down every major ring event in the zone. Including bank, avatar, cliff/waterfall, arena, gambler, both towers, w random named in between and still have ~30 min to spare. yeah page 10 was kinda funny i kept losing the roll every time we got it to drop until last night. Since i just finished the stormhammer maybe ill work on my CoF. Although i still need the brawler gloves.

well, kaladim is to me just a grinding zone you only go to when you are locked out of all instances....... eq2 would have a serious problem if the population would increase, most zones that are not instances are not able to provide enough content if there are several groups inside..... only thx to the low population we ever see a named mob.....

decent loot tables are not what brings plat sellers into the game its peopel buying plat. which has no barring into why this zone shouldn't have a decent time vs reward for multiple groups. |

QFE - I see more legendary legs from CMM than gloves. I have been in Kaladim for the last 3 weeks at least 1 a day. Have killed the ring event at least 20 times and only seen 5 sets of class gloves, 2 chests, 3 notrade gloves, and the rest wood. I was not aware of the repop timers on the rest of the events either. If the Devs want to prevent plat farmers, then a lock down method should be created for ring events so people can not snag the named for a group doing the events (i have a way around this but...). The fact is thiszone is too small if u have invis (totems or group) and can be travelled quickly. I never go here without at least 50 charges of invis on me. That said, the respawn timer on the events and chance at named make completing the Stormhammer quest extremely difficult. I would be ok with 1 or 2 of the mobs being tough to get but 6 named???? |

i agree with both the only reasons to even go here is for the"?"'s and the WOW effect of new tunaria which is such a waste of a zone tbh new tunaria should be a raid zone its awesome

![]() Update - Guess waht guys, Devs are giving this zone some love. As per test update notes: The ring events in Kaladim can not be charmed now as well as the respawn timers have been reduced. This should help a lot (I am hoping for 1 hour timer tops |
