So what is up with Defiled Lord Byron's rediculous spawn times in Stormhold?

So was going through stormhold on my bezerker alt and got the sword of thunder drop about level 18, level 20 quest i figure ill be able to do it before 22 at least right? wrong.

The first part is easy enough kill 100 skeletons/zombies.

The second part requires killing 3 named mobs. Two are fairly easy to get. The third, Lord Byron is a PITA. I have been here for over 8 hours clearing phs, and have not seen him spawn once. To put it into perspective, i got all 4 named for screaming mace much faster than just one named. I have gone from level 20 - 25 camping him so far, just killing skeles around while I wait. I understand that the item is nice, but jesus christ I could mine for 2 hours and get weapon nearly the same made.

Anyways Id like to see him spawn more often, its pretty sad when HQ named spawn faster than this guy, whos needed for 2 non hq quests I know of.

And yes I was ranting a bit, but you would be too after over 10 hours in SH SMILEY

I love stormhold for nabbing a few master chests when Im going through those levels. Lord Byron was definately the hardest mob to spawn though out of all the names in those rooms. Quartermaster Berlin pops a lot more often. Check who is racing through the rooms farming the master chests and ask them to msg you when the mob pops up - IM sure most wont mind you joining them for the kill.

Farmers were not the problem (for once) as when I play usually im the only person/group in zone, that and the fact we were there each time the ph popped. I finally got him though, about an hour after I posted here SMILEY

Still i think he needs to pop more often. 8 Hours camping is a bit much imo, esp at level 20 SMILEY

this guy is a PITA to spawn, i remember when he was considered easy tho, some things have definitely changed since launch, hardly any bottlenecks if people complain enough! a few more threads come up, and this guy will be on a 4 minute spawn.

Not asking for a 4 minute spawn, but when you outlevel the item you need to kill him for before you get it...

Not only that but theres easier fabled to obtain in fg. All I'm asking is for him to pop more than once every 8 or 9 hours. It WAS a fun quest - right up till the 3rd or 4th hour camping thise [Removed for Content].
