Um, forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't they say they upgraded blackburrow? I don't notice a change...

I was afraid I was the only one that noticed no difference. I went in and it was all the same, well except of course for the casting lag SMILEY I would start to cast and the bar would be almost done casting and just sit there. Anyone else having the lag type bug with blackburrow?

I was in a group down there the other day, and it seems like the mobs at the enterance are easier. Also, the 2 rooms passed the bridge down the main tunnel (where the High Shaman pops) have different gnolls in them. Some are laying on the ground playing dead, and there are a few sets of heroics rather than just 1 massive encounter. Didn't notice any better loot, but we did not go deeper than that. Got a ton of keys.

I went through the entire zone today, there's NOTHING different about it! SMILEY Just want to keep this alive so the devs are aware that it didn't go live

there are changes.... IE several groups of mobs where there used to only be 1 or 2...  but aside form a few extra mobs, I never did see a named (well 1, but it was solo con and grey to my newbie character) in the hour and a half I was there...

When was the last time you were in BB? I've been leveling a few alts there of late and nothing is different. Perhaps those breaking up of groups happened a while ago and you never realized? Just curious because I was excited to see the new blackburrow as I absolutely, positively LOVE the new Wailing Caverns but went there and... nothing SMILEY

The only thing I noticed different was -possibly- a little higher mob density down the mining tunnels on the left side, but the rest looked exactly the same... same mob names, same levels, same number of mobs, curious lack of named pops after repeated clearing....

I think somebody slipped the "Blackburrow updated!"  message in the patch without actually confirming it went live.   Oops.

There certainly -are- more gnolls outside of Blackburrow, but they're not the weaker ones ejected from the dungeon....

Here is what I noticed:

- There are a lot more mobs in each of the rooms.
- Rooms typically have 12 or more mobs now which is composed of two and three group encounters, rather than one large encounter of 6 mobs.  The top of the zone is now all solo friendly
- The top of the zone is now all solo friendly with fewer ^ mobs
- The loot is different because I got a discovery on two items that I had not seen before
- The names are now not linked to any other mob but are still social (this may be the same as before, can't remember)

Yeah I thought it would be a proper style revamp, but looks like a few mobs were changed but named encounters and drops are the same. Couldn't really see anything terribly exciting in there to be honest SMILEY.

Theres now a triple heroic next to the two guys in the pond down under the spiders, one asks you to gather stuff from the miners and excavators.

Imagine my surprise when i waltz in and stand next to the two guys :smileysurprised:

I'll tell you what they DIDN'T change in BB.   Opalla, or whatever his face is (40-something named quest mob), that is required for BBC quest still spawns even after you've finished the quest.  No biggie for a lvl 70, but when you're mentored to 15, he hurts.

Strangely enough they said something similar about PF not too long ago and I went to check it out to find absolutely nothing different.  Nothing obvious, at least.

Yeah, it would be nice if the Opalla spawn was fixed. Really hurts when mentored down.

Well I like the more solo content. Seems that the queststarter drops were increased or it's just luck b/c you can solo more content now an the mobs seem to have lower hp's then they had before the revamp.
