Offline Server DOWN??

When trying to log in tonight, after getting a patch to the updater, and an ingame patch, if I tried to log directly into a character, I would get the "trying login server #1" and have to quit out. If I tried to log into character select, I get the message on my character screen that says "Offline Server DOWN" and only showing 4 characters. Is this something new with the latest patch?

okies apparently all I had to do was change my NIC card settings from auto negotiate (which is what I had to set it to in the hotel because of the flakey connections) back to forced 100mb connection that I use at home and reboot, Logged in just fine after that.
