Sending a letter to 'Guild' seems to be broken.  It appears it wont send to guild members that are offline.  I sent out a mail to the guild a while ago.  Only 2 people recieved it, both of them were online.  Checking my alts and wife's alts that were offline showed that they had not gotten it.

When I sent the mail, I got a long string of 'Recipient could not be found' messages

Well, after talking to Kaasha...It appears that it is Sunrayn that is broken (again) and not the mail.  He is being operated on now  =)

I'm glad I could have this looked at for you, Sunrayn. Hopefully we can get you fixed up quickly!

Update:  Sunrayn and Garinof are both bugged now.  I tried demoting them both then promoting them back to leader.  It fixed it for that day, now neither of them can send guild mail again.  Still getting the Recipient Could Not be Found message.  Wondering if it has something to do with the new 'spam' tab in mail.

I sometimes get the *cannot find recipient* msg when I use the auto finish of the sender. Say if I have sent mail to them before and the full name pops up as i'm typing it. If I clear out the send box and type thier name in fully. Then it goes through.

This only happens when I send mail addressed to 'guild'.  I can send to anyone normally (typing in their name), just when i go to send a letter to the entire guild it goes to a couple of folks but for the majority, i get the cannot find message.  I cant find a ryhme or reason for it yet.  There is no pattern as to who gets the mail and who doesnt.

Hmm I wonder if it's doing basically the same thing, but on a larger scale. Say it goes through each name in the guild roster, and comes across one or maybe 2 that react the same as I was describing, and giving you the kick back and cannot send error. You say this mostly all started with the addition of the spam tab on the mail thing?. Wonder if something along the coding of that has something to do with it.

Cant really help out on the guild thing as we only have me and the wife in the guild so no point in guild wide mailings.

Apparently this problem is spreading.  Felam, on test, is having the same problem.

Quit sneezing your mail woes on others, Sunrayn! I'll stop by Test soon and speak to Felam to see if we can get more of an insight.

Ok, think I got it figured out.

We started a tempory alt guild yesterday, moved a ton of alts into it to bring the actual characters down to a more reasonable number.

Our main guild now has 15 accts with 33 overall characters.  I sent a guild mail and then counted up the number of 'Recipient Cannot be Found messages.

Number of those messages?  18.  The difference between the number of accounts and the total characters in guild.

*edited to add* Hoping for confirmation on this part--in addition to going to one char per acct.  It is going to the highest ranked guild character you have.
