![]() I was swapping weapons yesterday and had the persona window up to see whether the changes were worth it. It was a close call from just examing the item, so I kept swapping it in and out to make sure. What surprised me was that my resists changed. The only stats on the item were wis and agility. I know agility increased the avoidance, but what was increasing the resists? There was an announcement that the wisdom=resist idea was canned some time back. Did I miss it being introduced again or am I being completely stupid and have missed something else obvious?

the wisdom = resists idea was not canned. the idea that was canned was the previous idea of the int vs wis for bonus spell damage. long complicated and they didn't go with it so no point in rehashing it.. Right now increasing your wisdom will increase your resists across the board. Now if I could just find more chain with wis on it so I can finally break 200.

![]() Well, you're both right. Wis=Resists was canned, a long time ago (at release I believe). Wasn't replaced by any other effect, far as I know. Then early combat revamp, they decided to make WIS negate the damage bonus of INT. Then late combat revamp they canned that idea, and now Wis increases your resists again. Overall, I think the Int=damage bonus / Wis=resists is the best route to go, at least the most logical one...
