So today I ran out of materials while crafting, but luckily my friendly Dark Bargainers broker did, indeed, have ash and belladonna listed.  Sweeeeet.  And then I had to click "buy" 40 times to buy my 5s worth of stuff.

I know others have suggested a "buy stack" button, and that for various reasons it's been said not to be likely.  So what about doing it on the other end: could the seller have an option to "list item" or "list stack?"  Could the person putting the stack of ash on the broker sell it such that This Item = 20 Ash = 5 silver?  It would be great for harvesters, for provisioners, and for some other crafters (though some more than others, I admit -- still, I'd buy a unit of six matching chairs from a carpenter, for a fair price).

I figure that for the person doing the selling, it could be either a function done at the market board, which has seen oh-so-many changes and improvements over the last few months, or in the inventory, with some kind of "unite stack" option.

If something like this isn't already in the works, I think this would make some things a lot easier.
