I'm really glad to see SOE finally give some props to my adept3 pet over the adept1 and apps, HOWEVER. They forgot a crucial point as usual. Warlock pets don't run out of power. Giving them more power doesn't do a bit of good. They also don't get played because compaired to the assin pet, their dps sucks. Now I love the changes for the tank and the assin - but the warlock pet doesn't do what he should dps-wise, and more power is silly. Want numbers? My assin pet can dps for 200 roughly, my warlock might hit 160 but is more likely at 120. And we all know the offensive pet buff does nothing what so ever for the warlock pet. Please continue to refine and improve these problems. I'd love to see my warlock pet doing 300 dps or more, taking advantage of consumption.
And btw, I'd still hunting master spells, boy are they hard to find.

I agree. While I am a new conj. I can't recall I time when I've seen my fire pet's power lower than 80% ever. This is with constant fighting. Infact, it goes down so little I was even thinking, for a while, that it didn't even USE power to cast its spells. When I read the update notes  I scratched my head and thought that maybe things change at higher levels. But truely, the problem with this pet isn't the power usage, it is the damage it does. Because of its limitations there should be no doubt that  the fire pet does the most damage -- it is a mage after all. But as it is now, it is largly useless once you get your scout pet.

Agreed!

Fire pet after a long, nasty fight say 2 or 3 groups on a bad pull may go down to 50 or 40% power...so adding more power does nothing!

The Fire pet needs to use AOEs more, as that's what you want to use it for, it's pathetic hit points make it a liability, and Master versions need to do more damage.

The fire pet needs to have the same hit points as the Air pet, because they are both DPs pets, but, the fire pets health is so lousy1 AOE attack or certainly 2 or 3 can KILL IT outright. They are a liability to use.

They are a DPs pet, an AOE rather than single target pet, that you'd use versus lots of mosb who aren't ^^ or ^^^, but t iwl still get hammered at times. It's not a tank pet, but it's hps are so low it frequently gets killed. Air and fire should have same health, the advantage should be best usage for each not that one is guaranteed to die several times a session :>

The offensive stance DOES help the mage pets, as it gives a large int bonus. More int = more damage from spells. Master versions of the mage pets do more damage, as they cast all spells at Master I level, not adept. My fire pet did more DPS then a wizard in several groups, so it's not that bad, though I agree that it should use AOE attacks more.

However, it doesn't help the warlock pet is the OP's gripe... the necro offensive gives +disruption/subjugation/focus and necro defensive is -intelligence, there is no increased intelligence on the necro offensive buff (and why necro's don't use warlock pets).

My warlock pet does about 30-40 dps. I dont even bother casting it because the thing should drop bombs from a distance in theory. Not really sure what it hits for. It dies too quit but I may not even upgrade the T6 model.

Necro's pet offensive buff doesnt give INT. It gives useless +skills.
