Okay, when first reading this change I was pretty neutral on it. Nice not to have my AE mezzes broken when I don't want them to be, but also a bummer that certain AE tactics will no longer be very viable. Having tested it though, it is definitely not a beneficial change, because the spell now blocks itself. What this means is that when you mez a group of mobs with it, the first cast is fine, and they all get mezzed. If you try and refresh the mez, however, you run into trouble. The one mob you have targeted gets remezed, but since the others already have TA on them, they are protected from the AoE, so not only do they not get re-mezed, the TA they already have on them gets broken immediately, so now you have one mob mezed and the rest free, and a 10 second refresh time before you can use TA again. This needs to be changed. Either fix it so that TA does not block itself, or just put it back the way it was. I never saw any complaints from coercers or illusionists about this spell, and can almost guarantee basically every enchanter would rather have it in it's pre-LU16 form than in it's present LU16 state. I agree with the OP. I have never had a problem with the spell not blocking AOE's as it is almost always used for adds. If I use it for the mobs I/we are fighting, I use single target spells to kill the current target, knowing the rest will break if I use an AOE. If I want to AoE a bunch of mobs, why would I want to AoE mez them?

This change is not needed, but if it goes live, at least allow it to be refreshed.

Agreed. It should at least be able to overwrite itself if the change is actually going to go live.

I concur.  Refreshable, or change it back, please...(and don't forget to do the same to the Illusionist equivalent)

That can't be intentional. An oversight, though kind of a funny one.

No, its another change they did on purpose, they don't want you to be able to refreash it.

They have killed off most enchanters with all their nerfs and just trying to kill off the last ones now
