It's really annoying that completed collections don't count towards quests completed. Especially since on Tuesday I had 990 quest completed and was looking forward to getting 1000 this week. Now I'm on 928 and 1000 looks miles away.

Also, all that time and money collecting items, and I have nothing to show for it except a few trinkets.

What's worse though is that people who haven't logged in yet haven't had their stats on eqstats updated, meaning that people you played the game yesterday are down on people who haven't logged in. I dropped 40 places on the global chart last night, despite doing 8 quests yesterday.

If this change is permenant, at least put us on a level playing field.

With all the legitimate problems and complaints that people have about this game, I would have to agree that this is one of the most assanine posts I have seen. Who gives a rat's a s s that you don't have 1000 quests completed. In which way shape or form does this influence your gameplay or others? If your sole complaint is that you are not one of the top players on the boards, let me assure you that WE DON'T CARE. How many people do you think actually read those boards anyway? The collection quest change was for the betterment of all players overall. Please complain elsewhere and leave these boards to those trying to get something accomplished.

This is the second funniest thing I've read today. Sorry but no one can compete with the guy who posted about the poor people from planet Forsk. And yeah, people do complain a bit much.

Ok I admit most of it was me having a bit of winge. 1000 quests is one of those nice milestones like getting to level 50.

However, I still reckon they should adjust existing players who haven't logged in recently

Some people have narrow arsh views.

Quest count might not be inportant to you but to some people it means alot more than getting uber loot.

I also think it was dumb they removed collection quests from the total .(and I am not a quest nut)

Yes, it's not stupid if that was a big goal for you. I would think a one time adjustment of the stats on EQ2Players should have been done when they did the LU.

It's funny how there are people complaining about people complaining. It may not be a big deal to some that the collection count reduced the number of quests complete but some of us that play the game do work hard at completing quests to get on the top list. I had just crossed 400 quest completes and got knocked back to 389. I am not complaining I was just a little shocked when I first saw it. I hope they add a collections complete list on the eg2players website. Infact I will go to the proper forum and add the suggestion.
