The fifth stage of the Glowing Black Stone quest should now properly take the Palladium Torque.

I'm sorry, did I miss the part where you made a point? Is this a mis-post from somewhere or did you forget to include, oh, any useful information? How about explaining your point a little.ShazzHave a nice day.

Hmm, maybe they were repeating the quest?Dunno why someone would be complaining about a quest fix. /gasp

I'm not a [Removed for Content] and knowing more about the game than ppl that haunt the forums I"m GUESSING he's talking about before on the quest when you gave a Palldium torque in to advance the quest you got it back. Now I'm assuming that it gets eaten, and that isn't good...it costs a pretty penny to get your hands on them alot of time

Exactlly.. they are making it so that the Pallidum torque gets taken from you when you hail for this part of the quest.. the pallidum torque is expensive to have made..

we have 1 for our entire guild and pass it around for everyone to use for this step of the quest..

It would be very bad for the torque to not be given back after you get to this part of the quest..

It would be as intended, which is very good. Its a heritage item, pretty much an artifact, and you don't even have to get a torque made using a rare, you can get one as a drop off of a mob in edgewater drains. Now with mentoring you can't even complain that you outleveled the mob.

So you want every player in the game to spend hours farming there?

Not much different from needing a Fir for the PGT or needing a high quality pelt for the manastone. It's only fair. I don't like it, but the others get eaten.

except fir is harvested in either TS or nek (both big zones) and the pelt can be easily found on an animal... I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the change, just saying that there is a difference... the torque is not only rare, it has to be crafted or farmed from a small area (which doesn't seem to instance itself from what I've seen)...

Severed fir it's a t3 rare from wood nodes ( like palladium cluster is from the stones) and it also require a woodworker to make the piece required for pgt combine.
High Quality pelts for manastone quest can only be harvested on t4 trap nodes and its ultra rare.It also requires a tailor to make the piece required for the shroud of manastone.
Rough Opal:t5 rare from stones, used for stein of mogok final combine, also needs to be worked on by a jewlcrafter of the apropriate lvl.
Ebon cluster:t5 rare from rocks.Only piece that can be used as it is for the bbc quest.
All of them have something in common:YOU LOSE YOUR RARE!
           GBS is fixed.
